Job Responsibities:
- Assist with the research and writing of blog posts
- Draft press releases and other marketing materials about company news and events
- Assist with online and offline research projects
- Continuously monitor review sites and local directories
- Collaborate with team members in different departments on new projects and ideas
Required Knowledge and experience:
- Must be a college junior or senior pursing a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, business, public relations, communication or related field
- Interested in writing, blogging, public relations, communications, social media, and video marketing
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and results driven personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member
- Ability to communicate at all levels by phone, email and face to face
- Excellent writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required(e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing skills
- Graphic design capabilities is a plus, but not required
- Well versed in social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint
